Reading Time: < 1 minute

On the heels of Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) in Philadelphia, a local nonprofit in the Allegheny West community of North Philadelphia wants to do its part to lift small business owners.

To that end, the Allegheny West Foundation (AWF), a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization, is partnering with Philadelphia’s 8th District Councilwoman Cindy Bass; PA State Senator Sharif Street, representing the 3rd senatorial district; and PA Darisha Parker, representing the 198th Legislative District, in sponsoring a One- Stop Pop-Up Shop for small business owners, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 1 pm-4 pm. Ronald E. Hinton, Jr., President of the Allegheny West Foundation, says he’s been wanting to host an event such as this since the pandemic hit.
