The Brothers that brought us, ZanzibarBlue, Warmdaddy’s, and South Jazz Kitchen, closed the doors of their fine establishment, Relish, serving its final meal just weeks ago. Located on Ogontz Avenue in Northwest Philadelphia, Relish was known for its brunch and entertainment.
In a written statement to the public, the Bynum Brothers (Robert and Benjamin) reported regretfully having to shut its doors. “Since 2007, when we first opened the doors of our West Oak Lane restaurant, we have enjoyed the tremendous support of this great neighborhood, including OARC (Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation), our hard-working Congressman Dwight Evans, the parishioners of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church and its kind, generous and charismatic leader, Pastor Alyn Waller.
