The bible in Philippians 4:13 says ‘I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.’ Now from a faith perspective that is so true but the reality is, it’s really not me doing it but the CHRIST in me. I say this because the more I live and the older I get, the more I realize that there are a lot of things that I can’t do. Moreover, the older I get the more I realize that there are things I use to do that I can’t do anymore. But thanks be to GOD because the things I can’t do HE CAN DO. He can do it because HE is sovereign. HE can do it because HE has all power in HIS hands. HE can do it because HE is GOD ALMIGHTY. You see: I can’t wake myself up in the morning…But GOD Can! I can’t keep my heart beating…But GOD Can! I can’t control my thoughts all the time…But GOD Can!
I can’t stop this pain in my body…But GOD Can! I can’t keep my body operating properly…But GOD Can!
