Booth’s Corner Customer Appreciation Days

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The iconic and diverse Booth’s Corner Farmers Market hosted spectacular customer appreciation days last weekend. On September 9th and 10th, Booth’s Corner shoppers browsed the diverse stalls looking for bargains. It appears the deals weren’t hard to find. “Those sales are fabulous in there today,” one lady said as she stuffed an arm full of bags into the trunk of her car before heading back inside.

Booth’s Corner is to Delaware County, Delaware, and the surrounding areas–what the Reading Terminal and Italian Markets are to Philadelphia. A family-owned business, the Market has been run by the Cohen Family since 1950. Family is paramount for the Cohen’s, evidenced by the friendly manner people are greeted when they drop by the Market’s office. The friendly atmosphere and community spirit are prevalent throughout the Market. Generations of the Cohen Family continue to operate Booth’s Corner, training the next generation just as Paul Cohen has done since the Market began.

Dozens of Amish and area merchants travel to Booth’s Corner every weekend to sell products. Fresh fruits and vegetables, home-baked goods, meats and cheeses, crafts, jewelry, candles, shoes, clothing, household items, and a host of unique one-of-a-kind items are available.
