Chairman Emeritus Steven Scott Bradley to be honored with 2022 Vanguard Award

Philadelphia, PA – On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE will host its Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony in person at the Lincoln Financial Field from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM. This will be the first in-person Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony since the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The AACC Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony is one of Philadelphia’s most prominent networking events for business owners and business leaders throughout the region. Presented by Parx Casino and hosted by The Philadelphia Eagles, the 2022 event will continue in its tradition of honoring business leaders throughout the region that represent and support African-American businesses through economic empowerment and advocacy. “This is not only our largest membership event of the year, but it’s one of the largest networking events for business leaders in Philadelphia,” said AACC President and CEO Regina A. Hairston. “It’s a great opportunity for our members to connect with the region’s largest corporations and leading influencers to build relationships and grow their businesses.” 

Steven Scott Bradley, AACC Chairman Emeritus, will receive the 2022 Vanguard Award for his 13 years of service and leadership as Chairman of the Chamber Board. Additionally, 6abc WPVI-TV will receive the 2022 Corporate Advocate of the Year honor for their commitment to supporting black businesses through their “Good Business” initiative. The 2022 Nonprofit of the Year honoree is the Urban League of Philadelphia; and Chamber members will also honor their peers in the categories of Small Business of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year during the ceremony. 

This AACC Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony will also be an opportunity for Chamber Members and associates to meet the new Board Chairman Jovan T. Goldstein as he articulates his vision of further growing the presence and impact of the African-American Chamber in the region. Media legends Lorraine Ballard Morril of iHeart Media and Robert W. Bogle of The Philadelphia Tribune will serve as this year’s Mistress and Masters of Ceremonies. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with diverse local and regional businesses and enjoy live entertainment, gourmet food stations, and an open bar.
