Nadir “Status” Muhammad closed out his Charity Birthday Weekend with a Comedy Roast hosted by friend and legend J’Vonne Pearson, writer for Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, head writer for BET Comic View, and Def Comedy Jam comedian. Comedy friends and former clients submitted roasts through video, and some were live on stage as well.
I witnessed a few laughs, but more importantly, I saw love; with the recounting of all of Status’ good deeds, connections, and love, he shows all he encounters. To know Status is to know you have a friend you can call on to direct you, laugh with you and help you push your vision forward.
We saw recorded messages from some of his friends that couldn’t make it to the event, and of course, it included funny guy Tizz 215 and more.
