Major record labels witnessed explosive talent in Philadelphia and discovered ‘Who’s Litty Outchea?’
Will Styles, Hennessey Kev, and Plex brought the Major Label Showcase, “Who’s Litty Outchea,” to Philly for the third time. The winning artist received real prizes that could potentially change their lives.
Who’s Litty Outchea provided an excellent networking opportunity for the artists. Philly Wonder Woman, Fiya Chick, and me (Shelly Shell), Philly vets, had a chance to meet some of the artists. Many industry executives were present, and performers had the opportunity to meet and connect with them after their performances. These connections could open doors to future collaborations and opportunities they may not have had access to otherwise.
The Major record showcase was a massive success. Musicians from all over the city gathered to showcase their talents in hopes of winning. The artist received real prizes like radio plays and one-on-one music reviews with the A&Rs.
The performances were exceptional, with artists showcasing their unique styles and some not-so-unique and impressive vocal abilities. The judges, consisting of influential executives from various record labels, were visibly impressed with the displayed talent. They had a tough time selecting the winners due to the high caliber of performers.
Each judge had chosen the artist that they personally felt. @sodrewski picked Forever Fresh, Power 105 @gabepnyc @ontheradarradio chose #Str8lvce, Def Jam @kinglyte picked Mo 8 Money, Epic @1stevecam went with Roc Muzik, Capitol Records @enew901 picked Nasty Mia
“Supa salute to all the artists. Great job! Once again, on behalf of the @MajorRecordLabelsShowcase all genres, we greatly appreciate the continued support!” Said Will Styles.
