The Pain of a Working Man

Reading Time: 3 minutes

How would you feel if you worked a large part of the day to help encourage people to come out of their rebellion, but they refused? What would you think of people, that are aware of other people who were destroyed for their rebellion, but they are refusing to change?

How would you feel despite speaking millions of words over the years warning people to obey God (Allah), it is as if you had not said anything?

It is very painful for any man to work for the upliftment of a people when those people continue to kill, rape, murder, lie, steal, cheat, commit adultery, fornicate, disrespect their elders, abuse their spouses and children, commit suicide, and abuse drugs and alcohol. and any number of harmful behaviors you would be hurt as well.

God (Allah) always sends a warning before he destroys a people. Minister Farrakhan has been warning us for over 66 years, but the masses have refused to change. We have not only refused to change, but our condition has gotten worse. The Bible says, “Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” (Ezekiel 37:9)

Minister Farrakhan has said, “Some of us will be moved by the word, but unfortunately, most will have to be chastised.”

When we look in the past, great men and women, have stood up and worked to make our condition a little better, but they seem to be the only ones standing. We need to stop thinking that someone else will do this or that and get up and do it for ourselves.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, “Do for self or die!” Do you want to die? If not, how can we start to do for ourselves? We need to learn how to love and respect ourselves first! Then you can learn how to love and respect others! Why would you cut your neighbors grass, but not your own? Why would you pay your neighbor’s bills, but not your own?

Behavior like that is very silly and shows that you do not love and respect yourself and you are not following the word of God (Allah). The Bible says, “And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:31)

First, we must start with ourselves! They say when you are on a plane, if it should come a time when the oxygen mask drops down, put your mask on first. We were taught that self-preservation is the first law of nature. But when you start living, it is natural to want others to live as well. Minister Farrakhan said, “You are not a Muslim until you want for your brother and sister, what you want for yourself.”

Today, some of us have houses, vehicles, clothes, shoes, some of the finer things in life, but we are still rebellious to God’s (Allah’s) word that contains laws, regulations, guidance and warnings. Some people were Prophets that prophesied of things to come, but prophets look different. I wonder how much pain Abraham was in when he left his homeland. I wonder how much pain Moses was in when he led his people out of Egypt. I wonder how much pain Jesus was in 2,000 years ago.

All of the prophets were trying to get the people to obey God (Allah)! All of the prophets were trying to get the people to stop their wicked ways!

This is article 47, and the 47 Surah in the Holy Qur’an is named, Muhammad. The Holy Qur’an says, “In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from Allah’s way, He will destroy their works. And those who believe and do good, and believe in that which has been revealed to Muhammad – and it is the Truth from their Lord – He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition. That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth their descriptions for men.” (Surah 47, 1-3) The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1:7)

I am striving to be obedient to God’s (Allah’s) instruction coming from his word and His present messenger so that I will not be among fools! When we come out of rebellion, the pain of a working man is dispelled! Pray and ask God (Allah) to keep The Believers safe!
