Vizion the business publication of Scoop USA Media, hosted a luncheon for Women’s Business Month. Held at the cozy, intimate Bleu Brook, located at 5610 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the afternoon affair offered an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to share their experiences with one another and network.
The panelist included Educator and Author Dr. Leslie Grace, Motivational Speaker and Author Michelle Snow, TML Communications Owner Teresa M. Lundy, and Mary Arthur, CEO the Campaign for Working Families.
ScoopVizion was developed during Covid especially to assist those that didn’t know the basics of business. Scoop Publisher Sherri Horsey-Darden started, “During Covid, I realized that there some business owners that didn’t know what I knew, and as a new business owner, I realized that I struggled too.” “There were some things like, Unemployment Insurance that came a year after I had been in business. Having a business degree and a human resources background, I was able to pivot and do what needed to be done. Not all business owners are that fortunate,” said Horsey- Darden.
