The theme was Experience the Evolution!
The energy of the Lov’n My Curves fashion show was incredible. The audience was dressed fashionably and excited to love all the curves represented and hosted by Dezzie, who dazzled us. This year’s theme was all about Evolution, and as a plus-size female, I’m grateful to see plus-size fashion evolve and sparkle. The world of fashion has recognized that curves are winning.
This is the fifth season of Lov’n My Curves’ Runway show. The show featured exclusive iconic trailblazers of the Fashion Industry, International and Regional Designers, Retailers, and Sponsors like: Dove, Fashion Fair, Health Partners Plans, Ambi, Ashley Stewart, House of Bella Rene’, Nina Cheyenne, Classic Beauty, House of Sheba, Mylk and Honey, Atiya Joanne, Proud Muslimah, Bearded Hustlers, Big Man Culture, and a curated fashion segment for the Kingsmen of Lov’n My Curves.
Lov’n My Curve’s goal is to ensure the representation of all shapes and sizes in fashion. Celebrities have recognized their brand, social influencers, national retailers, influencers, models, and fashion lovers from across the country, such as Essence, BET, Catherine’s, Ashley Stewart, New York Fashion Week, and a host of others. In addition, past participating leading actors, who are also designers, showcased their signature plus size collections were Lisa Raye McCoy and recent Emmy Award winner Sheryl Lee Ralph.
The Founders of Lov’n My Curves, CEO Dr. Marquita Williams, Vice Presidents Keycha Rogers and Nicole Connell set out to make history by showing the world that Curvy Girls Rock Too! It was bigger than ever! Lov’n My Curves has nearly 100 male and female models across the country.
