Bounce House, Face Painting, Loaded Book Bags, Music, Fun, and more are all brought to you by Living for Tomorrow. Starz Enterpriz, LLC, Eddie’s House, PSA Community, and Parker & Wright Party Rentals.
Living for Tomorrow turned The Drop-In Center at 2321 N. Broad Street into an oasis of fun for the entire family. Children lined up to get face painting and to bounce around in the inflatable bounce houses.
Families got back-to-school supplies and lots of BBQ food with a DJ playing all my favorites. One of the teens challenged me to a dance battle, then once I won, he said, I underestimated you, hilarious!!! It was a real summer scorcher, but the excitement and lively people kept us cool.
“I want to thank Movita Johnson Harrell and her Husband, Yancy Harrell, Shieve Parker of Parker & Wright Party Rentals for providing the tents, tables, and chairs, Shelly Shell Williams, Mr. Thommy Live, LFTI staff, and everyone who came out and participated in the event,”said Executive Director and Founder Dinlitha Banks.
The Community Event was funded by Living for Tomorrow’s founder and staff as they prepare for the Female Residential Reentry Center opening.
