Janeen Hovnanian, the curator behind Rancocas Woods Events in Mt. Laurel New Jersey

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Janeen Hovnanian, the curator, creatrix, and force behind Rancocas Woods Events and some of the revitalization efforts that have been happening in The Woods the last couple of years. With a vast background in just about everything arts & entertainment, she considers herself a “Jill of all Trades,” bringing a unique variety of skills and knowledge to the growing Creek Collective + Community.

“I’ve worked in the Music, Film, and TV industries over the last 15+ years across the country (and even some parts of the world)! I’m also one half of a small business sporadically run by my sister and me, creating flare for your soul and curating a sustainable, slow fashion closet located in the boutique upstairs at Creek Mercantile, one of the shops downtown in Rancocas Woods (we even host seasonal, sustainable fashion shows).

Janeen especially enjoys creating something EXTRAordinary from practically nothing…

“One of my goals in life is creating environments and experiences where we can stimulate and better ourselves and our community, something Rancocas Woods has brought back into my life that I’m very grateful for!” Janeen is extremely dedicated and passionate about creating a resurgence of events and entertainment offerings in The Woods for the community and their friends and families to enjoy, as she did growing up!

“I grew up going to my Nana’s in The Woods, who lived on the Rancocas Creek, right at the corner of the Boulevard and Marne Hwy, the home where my mom also grew up! I am very familiar with the history and charm of the area and am passionate about bringing the good times back!”

Rancocas Woods, located off Creek Road in Mount Laurel, NJ, offers all kinds of free events for its community members to enjoy!
