Lord, we thank you for our children. Help us to teach them the way.
Our children are so lost and have been lost for a very long time. It breaks my heart just to think about it and even more to talk about it. Some years ago, God inspired a teenager to write what is called: “The Teenage Commandments.” I’m sharing them with you in hopes that you will share them with your children by way of a family discussion. Communication with our children is one of the keys that will help them make the right decisions for their lives. So here we go:
– Stop and think before you Drink, Take a Drug or use a Weapon.
– Don’t let your parents down; they brought you up.
– Be humble enough to obey. You will be giving orders yourself someday.
– At the first moment, turn away from unclean thinking.
– Don’t show off when driving. If you want to race, go to Indianapolis.
– Choose a date, a person who would make a good mate.
