But GOD Can

We give you all the Glory and honor that is due to you O’ Lord our God.
Philippians 4:13 in the bible says, “I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.” Now from a faith perspective–that is so true. But the reality is, it’s not me doing it but CHRIST in me. I say this because the more I live and the older I get, the more I realize that there are a lot of things that I cannot do. Moreover, the older I get, the more I realize that there are things I use to do that I can’t do anymore. But thanks be to GOD. The things I can’t do, HE CAN DO. He can do it because HE is sovereign. HE can do it because HE has all power in HIS hands. HE can do it because HE is GOD ALMIGHTY.

I can’t wake myself up in the morning…But GOD Can!
I can’t keep my heart beating…But GOD Can!
I can’t control my thoughts all the time…But GOD Can!
I can’t stop this pain in my body…But GOD Can!
I can’t keep my body operating properly…But GOD Can!
I can’t heal my body…But GOD Can!
I can’t make myself glad when I’m sad…But GOD Can!
I can’t protect myself from all hurt, harm, and danger…But GOD Can!
I can’t fix all my house problems…But GOD Can!
I can’t pay all my bills… But GOD Can!
I can’t keep myself from losing my job…But GOD Can!
I can’t see trouble hiding around the corner…But GOD Can!
I can’t get my mate to act right…But GOD Can!
I can’t keep my children from getting into trouble…But GOD Can!
I can’t get my so-called friends to treat me right…But GOD Can!
I can’t stop others from teasing me…But GOD Can!
I can’t make my supervisor respect me…But GOD Can!
I can’t get my neighbor to speak to me…But GOD Can!
I can’t stop folk from talking bad about me…But GOD Can!
I can’t stop Satan from messing with me… But GOD Can!
I can’t make a way out of no way…But GOD Can!
I can’t open doors that man can’t shut, and I can’t shut doors that man can’t open…But GOD Can!
I can’t be my bridge over troubled water…But GOD Can!
I can’t be my sunshine on a cloudy day…But GOD Can!
I can’t save my soul from eternal damnation…But GOD Can!
I can’t wash all my sins away…But GOD Can!
I can’t give myself a good report on judgment day…But GOD Can!
I can’t make my feet strike Zion…But GOD Can!
I can’t make Heaven my home…But GOD Can!
Yes GOD can do anything and everything but fail, and I can’t speak for you, but I’m glad about it. I feel my shout coming on. I feel a praise coming on. Therefore I say, “GLORY TO HIS NAME,” and I’m doing my dance. What are you doing? AMEN.
