There is a saying that I heard over the years, “I rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.” When someone thinks that their life is in danger, self-preservation may kick in, and that person fights to stay alive. Is this wrong? Should a person just lay down their life and give up this precious gift that God (Allah) has given us? The following scriptures are just a few that may provide more insight as to how God (Allah) looks at the gift he has given us:
“And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.” (1 Kings 3:14)
