Four-time Grammy Award-winning duo KING + COUNTRY is set to bring their annual holiday concert, A Drummer Boy Christmas, to theaters nationwide for the first time. From December 5-9, fans can experience the popular show on more than 1,000 screens across the U.S.
The Christian music duo, made up of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, also announced plans to take a brief hiatus from touring in 2025. During this break, they will focus on creating new music and working on their next feature film project. Their most recent film, Unsung Hero, was released by Lionsgate in April through Kingdom Story Company and grossed over $20 million at the box office.
Unsung Hero was directed by Joel Smallbone, who also played the role of his father, David Smallbone. The film tells the story of the Smallbone family’s move from Australia to the U.S. after David’s music business failed. The family later rose to prominence with KING + COUNTRY and their sister Rebecca St. James, both becoming renowned names in inspirational music.
From Unsung Hero to A Drummer Boy Christmas, the Smallbone brothers are making moves. For more details, check local listings for a list of theaters where you can check out their great productions.
