Last week, we heard about Recording Artist Lauryn Hill’s recent concert in Philadelphia, which had fans upset. She took to Instagram to share a disappointing update with fans concerning the ongoing The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour: Ms Lauryn Hill & The Return of The Fugees.
Well, Philly, she has something to say to you. In a statement, she said: “Dear Philadelphia, it is with disappointment that I am writing this note to you. On the advice of my physicians, I have no choice but to postpone the show until tomorrow.” She explained that the strain caused her voice to necessitate a break, adding: “I need to rest my voice to prevent any more serious strain or damage to my vocal cords.”
The tour is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of her acclaimed 1998 debut album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” and reunited her with the other members of the 90s hip-hop trio, The Fugees, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel.
She said, “I look forward to giving you the show you deserve with a fully recovered and healthy voice,” she continued, adding of the postponed show: “The new date for Philadelphia will be November 25. It will be a special one. Toronto, I’ll see you next. Resting for a few days, then heading your way.” Fans immediately expressed concern and prayers. So, Philly holds on. She’s going to try it one more time.
