Congratulations to Elleanor Jean Hendley’s Teenshop Alumna, who has been crowned Miss Pennsylvania USA 2023. According to a post on Facebook, Jasmine Daniels was a Teenshop chapter member for several years and a recent former chapter leader. She’s a graduate of Immaculata College with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. We are so proud of Jasmin, who will next compete in the Miss USA Pageant. Hats off to you!

City Councilwoman Cindy Bass presented The Knowledge Factory Inc. 501c(3) with a check for $25,000 from the City Council of Philadelphia towards the renovation of the “Grand Hank STEM Center For Inner City Youth.” The Center will be located in the Germantown section of the City near LaSalle University.
In a statement, Grand Hank said, “In scientific terms, the grant will serve as a ‘Catalyst’ to help move the project towards Completion.” The goal is to raise $3 Million through Government, Private, and Public donations. We will be calling on our friends, family, associates, and the greater community in the very near future. We are going to need help to make this happen on a “Grand Scale.” Let’s give a big shout-out to Councilwoman – Cindy Bass for supporting this massive project.
