PHILADELPHIA (BPRW)—The Eastern Region of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will hold its 75th Annual Teen Conference in Philadelphia, PA, from March 20 through March 23 with the theme, “We Will Not Be Silenced.” The Conference will attract more than 1,200 Jack and Jill Teens. Attendees will engage in leadership development activities, including educational, cultural, recreational, and philanthropic programs created for and by the Teens of the Eastern Region.
Cornerstone events include a college fair, oratorical competition, a talent showcase, an awards and achievement recognition ceremony, and a hands-on community service project that will benefit local organizations such as HopePHL and The Bethesda Project. There are also several educational opportunities aimed at introducing Teens to leadership and personal development. Attending Teens will learn about Brand Management/Marketing, Media/Journalism, Law, Sports Management, Medicine, Technology, and Engineering through a series of engaging workshops. Conference sponsor Prudential–will present work-shops on careers in finance, investments, and college funding methods for Teens and Mothers.
Along with the educational component, Teen Con- ference also provides an opportunity for Teens to in- teract, network, and form life-long bonds. Teens will experience a bit of Philadelphia history and cuisine during their Dine Around, where they will patronize local restaurants and vendors. The Senior Gala, a Teen Conference signature event, allows the high school class of 2025 Teens and families to celebrate this milestone.
