14th Annual “Roast Hunger” Program will help fight hunger this holiday season

Reading Time: 2 minutes

PHILADELPHIA, November 26, 2024 – Dunkin’ of Greater Philadelphia announced the launch of its 14th annual “Roast Hunger” program, which helps fight hunger in the Philadelphia community. Dunkin’ franchisees in the Philadelphia area – all of whom are independent business people in their communities – are always looking for ways to support those in need. As food costs continue to rise and the demand at food banks nationwide increases, this annual program provides much-needed funds to support the local food banks in our region.

Beginning on November 28, Thanksgiving Day, through December 15, for every Large Hot Coffee purchased by Dunkin’ Rewards members, Dunkin’s Philadelphia-area franchisees will donate $1 to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation to help support regional food bank partners as they strive to end hunger in the Philadelphia region, which includes Philabundance, Food Bank of Delaware, Food Bank of South Jersey, Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank (A Program of Community Action Lehigh Valley) and Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

All funds raised by the Philadelphia-area franchisees through the Roast Hunger program will stay local to the region, supporting our neighbors in need this holiday season. Dunkin’ Rewards members can make their coffee purchases count by ordering ahead with the Dunkin’ Mobile App or scanning their loyalty ID QR code in the Dunkin’ Mobile App at checkout. If guests are interested in becoming Rewards members, they can sign up for Dunkin’ Rewards at www.DunkinDonuts.com or through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.

“On behalf of Dunkin’ of Philadelphia, we are thrilled for the return of the 14th annual Roast Hunger program and to continue our favorite holiday tradition with the community,” said Jackie Keown, Field Marketing Director for Dunkin’. “Hunger impacts countless children in our community, and no child should go to bed hungry or not know where their next meal will come from. The Roast Hunger program allows our Philadelphia-area franchisees and guests to lend a hand in the fight to end childhood hunger during the holiday season.”
