But on my last show, I was flabbergasted by one of my guests, whose mother (Dionne Stone) spoke out for him on the show. She told the story of her son Gage, a 9-year-old entrepreneur who designed his own sneakers and is now in the process of making them available to the public. Tommy Too Smooth joined the show shared his remarkable talent, and talked about how it all began. “Rap- pin with Will Smith on the Hilltop (a section of West Philadelphia — a combination of Wynnfield and Over- brook area) at house parties, we all knew we were destined for good things,” Tommy explained. He started with rappin and piano, and his brother was the comedian, but one day his brother gave him props for being funny, and that was the beginning of his journey.
