Reading Time: 2 minutes

If you tune into WURD 96.1 FM on the third Sunday of the month, you will hear my segment on the New World View with David Barnes and Yanina Carter. Here I recap
Scoop’s Philly Beat and feature people in the entertainment community making a difference, from worldwide stars to local jewels. But on my last show, I was flabbergasted by one of my guests, whose mother (Dionne Stone) spoke out for him on the show. She told the story of her son Gage, a 9-year-old entrepreneur who designed his own sneakers and is now in the process of making them available to the public. Stonegage’s shoes are an amazing shoe concept by Stone Gage. “It was his birthday, and I asked him what he wanted, and he said to make his own sneakers, and here we are,” Dionne explained.

The sneakers are a unique limited edition in which no one can find this custom design anywhere else. The shows are handcrafted in Italy by master craftsmen from pristine Italian leather. Whether you are on the court or street, this basketball-inspired sneaker is a perfect choice, according to Gage. Check out his sneakers at www.aliveshoes.com/stonegage-1 or email stonegage- pro1@gmail.com. Hats off to you Gage, for a job well done!!

He started with rappin and piano, and his brother was the comedian, but one day his brother gave him props for being funny, and that was the beginning of his journey.

“I have been featured on BET Comic View four times, including a half-hour special. I have also displayed my talent on NY 98.7 KISS FM Morning Breakfast Club from 2006 until its closing in 2010. I’ve shared my hosting skills with APOLLO Comedy Club and celebrate over 25 years as co-host to Sunday Night Live at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Brunswick, NJ, which is still active today. In addition, Tommy featured in multiple movies and TV shows, including “Triumph the Insulting Dog” on Comedy Central. “Ski ,…
